Royal Albert Hall presents:

Islamic Geometric Compositions by Samira Mian

Samira Mian is a contemporary artist and educator known for her expertise in Islamic geometric patterns, breathing new life into the centuries-old technique of straightedge and compass geometry to recreate patterns from the Islamic lands.
She is widely recognised for making these complex geometric patterns accessible to diverse audiences through workshops, social media and online teaching, creating a global community engaged with the beauty and depth of this remarkable tradition.
InHERited LINES, her first solo exhibition, reflects a decade of sustained research, teaching, and artistic exploration. Samira's artworks are created through a careful layering of pencil, pen, and colour. Each mark made throughout the process remains untouched; nothing is erased. Imperfections are deliberately left visible, regarded not as flaws but as authentic expressions.
